Pell, Ignatius (British) (c.1717) - boatswain for Stede Bonnet. One of several pardoned for testifying against Bonnet and others of the crew.
Perraud, Jacques (French) (c.1801) - captain of the privateer Bellone of St. Malo, operated in the Indian Ocean
Phillips, John (British) (d.1724) - carpenter to Anstis, Phillips set out on his own, but never attained any great successes. He finally died when his crew mutinied.
Pike, Robert (British) (c.1573) - crew member with Francis Drake, noted as having been in the brandy prior to spoiling ambush of Spanish gold caravan, recuas, near Venta de Chagre.

Pompeius, Sextus (Roman) (67-36 BC) - son of pirate hunter Pompey the Great, he turned pirate to combat his rival Octavian. From a base in Sicily he raided Italy until defeated by Octavian.
